Attention tea lovers! Scientists have finally cracked the code of the ultimate British tea blend establishing 'The Chromatic Tea Transformation Protocol' - a system that will achieve national tea hue uniformity.

The National Tea App (WhiteBrew) will be launched shortly allowing Brits to input their tea type and water hardness, and receive real-time colour adjustment instructions, including 'hue neutralizer dosage' and 'clarity calibration' guidelines.

So much symbolism to decipher at the magnificent St John's Great Gate, Cambridge.

The arms of the foundress Lady Margaret Beaufort, the Red Rose of Lancaster and Portcullis, heraldic mythical beasts, the tabernacle containing a socle figure of St John the Evangelist, an eagle at his feet and a poisoned chalice in his hands. The fan vaulting and crenellations, the work of a master mason...

The British Guild of Tourist Guides

The British Guild of Tourist Guides is the national professional association for Blue Badge Tourist Guides working throughout the UK. We represent around 1,800 guides who offer guiding in over 30 languages.

The Blue Badge is a symbol of excellence in tourist guiding. It is recognised internationally as the qualification of excellence in site and heritage interpretation, and in communication skills. It is awarded only following extensive training and rigorous examination. Blue Badge Guides pride themselves on being up to date and have a comprehensive programme of continual professional development.

Blue Badge Guides are often the ONLY external guides permitted to conduct tours at many attractions, including Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. We bring the sites to life, often telling the stories that are not in the guide books or audio tours. We offer a huge range of tours for individuals and group and many of our guides have particular specialities. We also offer themed tours from literature to the Beatles, film locations and ghost tours. We can create a tour that is right for you and help you discover things you would not have found on your own.

The British Guild of Tourist Guides is a member of European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (FEG) and the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (WFTGA).
