Anyone that visits Scotland should drive or walk through Glencoe, less than an hour from the lodge. I ran through it with my buddy and her husband on his bike....it is so spectacular.

Had a lovely few days at the lodge doing a bit of a spring clean and freshen up ready for a busy period. Shame about all the bad weather down south, once again it's been ok up here and looking even better for the weekend. Looking great this morning ready for our next guests. Hopefully the white tail eagle will make an appearance. Remember booking direct with us can save lots 😁

Weather looking great for our Easter weekend guests. We had 3 days getting the place spruced up but found time to climb the hill opposite to photograph the lodge from a new view point. Also got out on the kayaks.

one of my personal favourites about travelling to Wild Thistle Lodge is the drive up through some beautiful scenery. None more so than the stunning Glen Coe. Beautiful if you get a clear sunny day but magnificent when we get mean and moody weather like this week.

Had a fabulous week celebrating my birthday and owning the lodge for a year. Cycling the Great Glen Way, running, walking the dogs, canoeing, kayaking, wild swimming, paddle boarding and relaxing in the hot tub. Great weather too.
