Great to have Kory and the lads here from Secession GC. They had an exciting day playing in the morning on The Old Course directly after the Ladies Open and we managed to run into them on their second 18 of the day at Panmure GC. We had a marvellous day at Crail Golfing Society yesterday. It was a pleasure to host Melissa and Paul on such a magnificent day. It’s wonderful to see Scotland bathed in sunshine and it brings out smiles all round. We also all got the memo that it was a white hat day! Tremendous!
Another wonderful day at Panmure GC with our friends from South Carolina! It’s an oversight that PGC doesn’t feature in GB&I’s top 100. The course and facilities are magnificent. An historic gem!

We bid farewell to The Barbee Party. The gentlemen had a wonderful time playing in the highlands at Royal Dornoch, Cabot Highlands, Nairn and Brora. They then visited Gleneagles to play The Kings course enroute to St Andrews to play at Kingbarns and Dumbarnie (pictured) where they enjoyed a welcoming dram. Fantastic day at The 152nd Open at Royal Troon. It was great to be kindly hosted by The Hilton Head Island organisation for the day. It was also amazing for a few of our friends to take us into the clubhouse for a couple of hours and watch the golf from the smoke room right in front of the 18th green. Brilliant fun. Gentleman Jim Nantz was delighted to present The Morris Hickory Goblet to winning team captain outside the famed R&A clubhouse. We couldn’t think of a more fitting presentation for such an esteemed competition . He even admitted it was one of the highlights of his distinguished career. Same time next year Jim? 🏆❤️🏆❤️🏆❤️🏆❤️🏆!
Yesterday was the second playing of The Morris Hickory Goblet. A fiercely contested team stoke play competition played over the wonderful Kingarrock Hickory Golf Club. The Old Toms continued their winning streak in the annual match and celebrations and commiserations were had over ginger beer and shortbread in the clubhouse. We look forward to next year’s match! ⛳️🏴❤️🏆❤️🇺🇸⛳️
Well by hook or by crook we were able to get all The Pilgrimage players on the Old Course. On Monday 4 were successful in the ballot and one was successful in the singles ballot. Last night at 5.10pm George and Jay teamed up with 2 locals and made it out almost 10 hrs later than Jeff who played at 7.20am all through the singles ballot also. Perseverance and luck wins the day as all were able to create life long memories on The Old Lady! Love it! ❤️⛳️❤️⛳️❤️!

We’re delighted to be hosting NewClub Golf Society for their second edition of ‘The Pilgrimage’. The gents enjoyed their warm up round yesterday on the Eden Course. They are getting their skills honed today on The Old Course and Crail before battle for The Pilgrimage Quaich commences over Carnoustie Golf Links, The Castle Course and The Jubilee. Last week we had the pleasure of hosting the Farr party in St Andrews and East Lothian. The gents headed home today after enjoying rounds at Carnoustie, Panmure GC, The Castle Course, The Old Course, Kingsbarns, Dumbarnie Links, Muirfield (pictured) North Berwick, Gullane and Kilspindie. We loved having The Fraley Group in Scotland this past week. The guys enjoyed a Scottish golfing extravaganza taking in The Old Course, The Castle, The Jubilee, The New, Panmure, Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay. A tremendous week had by all. Haste ye back fellas!
We enjoyed hosting four delightful couples from Fayetteville, NC this week. The gents enjoyed rounds at The Old Course, Carnoustie, Kingbarns, The Castle Course, Dumbarnie and The Jubilee Course. Whilst the gents golfed the ladies visited many of Scotland’s historical gems including Balmoral Castle, Edinburgh Old Town and Castle, Falkland Palace, The Royal Yacht Britannia, Stirling Castle, Loch Lomand and many more. We had a wonderful sunny day at Royal Troon yesterday. It was fantastic to play the course a week before it closes for The Open. It’s going to be a magnificent venue and hopefully an exciting tournament. We look forward to seeing some of you there. Special mention to Iain Cameron for his gracious hospitality! Great day yesterday with a combination of Dumbarnie and The Old Course. Both Connor and Tyler made it onto the Old through the singles queue, albeit almost 12hrs apart!
The guys had an amazing trip playing 4 of the current Open Rota courses (The Old Course, Carnoustie, Turnberry and Royal Troon) and the original Open course, Pestwick. It was lovely seeing you all and Haste Ye Back! 🏴❤️⛳️
