Garden Cottage at Balone Farm House A special little retreat for you to enjoy when you’re needing to rest, recharge and energise. My family supported me throughout this busy life period.

I enjoyed building and managing my letting agency, Inchdairnie Properties, in St.Andrews for around thirty years. My husband Doug, and I are now happily enjoying this period of freedom. Garden Cottage was a renovation project which we undertook in 2019. The utmost care and attention to detail was applied and we are thrilled with the finished result. Despite the restrictions to travel/vacation stay

s, caused by the pandemic, we have been blessed with numerous bookings whenever permitted. Short Stay St.Andrews are our agents and take care of the bookings and general cleaning and we make sure that everything is in tip top condition. The cottage has also been used by the family when they need a break from domestic/ work routine and it is lovely to know that we can provide a retreat for everyone to recharge and feel energised again. We are enjoying greeting and meeting our visitors whenever we are available and we warmly welcome our guests to our Garden Cottage.

Bowhouse Christmas Tree Recycling.
Put your old Christmas tree to use and recycle it at Bowhouse this January. This year, we are using the tree chippings as bedding in our lambing pens. The pine sap from the trees is a natural antiseptic and is great for keeping the newborn lambs clean while they are indoors.

Drop off Point - Drive around to the back of Bowhouse where you will see a stack of Tattie boxes and the designated 'Christmas Tree drop off point'. Add your tree to the already existing pile of greenery.

- Please ensure your tree is free from all decorations and plastic. We don’t want the sheep or lambs eating plastic.
- Please drop your tree off no later than the 31st of January.
