Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting the beautiful wedding reception for Jennifer & Jack.
The sun was shining on Teasses and the gardens which are now in full bloom complemented our Victorian greenhouse where the couple chose to dine with 35 of their nearest and dearest. Followed by additional evening guests for the party in our newly refurbished marquee.
Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Lane!

Teasses Land Festival and Vintage Vehicle Day 16th JULY 2023
Keep the diary clear and join us on Sunday 16th July for our inaugural Land Festival, celebrating all things countryside. Shop in the market, tour the estate, visit our gardens and speak to the experts. Fun activities and adventure all day.
Nothing has quite captured the essence of our Candlelight Snowdrop Walk like @berriestagram ‘s reel.
We absolutely love it. The Candlelight Snowdrop is our favourite event in the calendar at Teasses. It is a somber, magical evening providing the opportunity to reflect on the harshness of winter and look forward to the coming Spring.
Make sure to include the Teasses Candlelight Snowdrop Walk in your 2024 calendar so as not to miss out on this magical, atmospheric and peaceful event.
Thank you @berriestagram for visiting and sharing your very emotive reel with us.
Finally it is the Candlelight Snowdrop Walk this evening at Teasses.
We love sharing the garden with you at this magical time. Just as the days are warming, the sun growing stronger the snowdrops glow in the woodlands around Teasses.
The Teasses Storyteller has another tale to tell. The Snowdrop by Hans Christian Anderson performed by Giada last year.
Tickets for tonight's event can be purchased on our website;

What does Conservation mean to us at Teasses. (Part 2 of 3)
Another of our mini-Doc series this time looking at the conservation work we undertake on the estate.
Last week we introduced the industrial and agricultural heritage of Teasses, spanning over thousands of years. This week we explore the work undertaken over the last twenty years to restore the landscape and improve biodiversity on Teasses.
Teasses thrives today because of the diversification we have undertaken to ensure the financial sustainability of the business. We have had to adapt to changing trends and exploit opportunities as they arise. Much of our business today comes from the various events we host on the estate including weddings and celebrations in our 2-acre walled garden. Other aspects of the business of Teasses include self-catering accommodation, garden open days and tours, Travel Trade and corporate events. The biggest share of income however come from the more traditional sectors of Farming and Sporting. On our farm we raise organic mixed breed cattle (Aberdeen Angus, Simmental & Shorthorn) for beef and a small flock of mixed breed sheep for organic lamb and grow a little organic arable which predominately provides feed for our livestock over winter. Our Sporting side of the business generates income throughout the year with simulated game days, fishing on our lochan, driven days from September to the end of January and roe stalking. The question we have to ask is how can we carefully restore the landscape to increase biodiversity while at the same time generating income from farming and sporting. The answer is...quite easily.
A wise gamekeeper once told me "everything in balance" when asking him about predation on the estate and that approach has served us well.
Once the ring road was created around the estate (M25) we could access all parts of the estate in vehicles easily. This meant that field boundaries where hedges and dykes had previously been could now be accessed and rest
