I launched Scents by Nel as I came to a point in my life where relaxation just seized to exist. Juggling long working hours and family life there was hardly any relaxation time – and when there was it was time to sleep before it all started again! I turned to yoga to help create ‘me’ time and to learn to relax and take things easier through the day. It was during this process that I realised that

scents – particularly scented candles and incense helped me to instantly feel at peace and relaxed. Scents by Nel is a range of scented candles (made with natural soy wax) and incense sticks (made with naturally derived ingredients). Both are vegan friendly. The scents are all developed to enhance emotions of wellbeing to aid relaxation or to induce energy. They can be used anytime for anything - yoga, bath time, reading time, family time or to simply fragrance your surroundings. My day generally starts by the lighting of an incense stick. I find the aroma of these sticks are an amazing way to encourage my positive mind set for the day. They also make my yoga routine special. I was fascinated how scents were able to influence my mood and emotions so strongly that I decided to launch my own range of natural and traditional inspired scents to help others experience this simple way of unwinding to help heal the mind and soul. I am positive that you too will find these scents uplifting and enchanting as I do. Here’s to some much needed ‘you’ time.
