Did you know that Heather View Cottage allows lodgers to come and stay?
We have had some lovely people sharing our home since we opened to guests.
When I say we I mean my cat, my little cocker spaniel and myself.
We’ve had
A biologist studying snakes.
A ground worker digging pipelines.
A charity worker making gardens.
A roof thatcher.
Sadly our biologist is leaving in September as his contract ends . So we will have a room available for long term lodging with its own bathroom.
This is a unique opportunity because right next door we have a holiday cottage where people pay a premium to stay in such a beautiful part of the world however for our lodgers sharing my own home there’s an understanding that people need affordable accommodation to live in.
