Stansted Airport has launched a new barrierless payment system for drop-offs and pick-ups, making the process more seamless for travellers. Starting tomorrow, vehicles can enter and exit the drop-off zones without stopping at barriers. Instead, the system uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) to track vehicles, and payments are processed digitally. However, all payments must be settled before midnight the day after use to avoid any extra charges.
This innovative tech will make airport experiences more seamless and hassle-free, saving precious time for travellers heading out on their next adventure.
