Iguaçu Falls, Paraná, Brazil – 3 days.

Higher than Niagara Falls, and twice as wide, with 275 cascades spread in a horseshoe shape over nearly two miles of the Iguaçu River, Iguaçu Falls are the result of a volcanic eruption which left yet another large crack in the Earth. During the rainy season of November to March, the rate of water going over the falls may reach 450,000 ft3 (12,750 m3) per second.

DURATION: 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS

Day 1 – Iguaçu Falls
Arrival at Foz do Iguaçu airport in the morning, where our host will be expecting you. 30-minute transfer to Hotel das Cataratas, located inside Iguaçu National Park. Check-in. In the afternoon, you will visit the Brazilian side of the famous Iguaçu waterfalls. Then, the Macuco Safari in an open car. The route is continued on foot (easy and short walk) to the Iguaçu River margin. There, a private motorboat will lead to the closest point of the waterfalls, where a unique view can be admired (duration of approximately 2 hours). Return to the hotel, free dinner and overnight accommodation.
Meals: Breakfast.
Day 2 – Iguaçu Falls
After breakfast, check-out and visit to Iguaçu Falls, on the Argentinean side. Enjoy the famous Cachoeira Garganta do Diabo ("Devil's Throat Waterfall") and the upper and lower paths, which allow you to be closer to the waterfalls. Lunch is on guests' account (we suggest the Sheraton restaurant). At mid-afternoon, transfer back to Cataratas. Dinner and evening on guests' account.

Day 3 – Iguaçu Falls
Breakfast. Check-out and transfer to the Foz do Iguaçu airport.
Meals: Breakfast.

Airport Improvement Fee for the International Airport of El Salvador, San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez
The Government of President Nayib Bukele is working hard on modernization and expansion projects at the El Salvador International Airport, in order to provide a first-class service to all users and passengers who circulate through the air terminal.

There is an increase in the number of passengers entering, leaving and connecting at the airport, compared to previous years.

El Salvador, due to its strategic position, is a HUB for one of the most important airlines in the region, having direct connection to more than 30 destinations in 14 countries.

Therefore, we inform you about the application of the Airport Improvement Fee of the El Salvador International Airport, San Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez, for passengers in transit:

1. The airlines will notify the Billing, Collection and Payments Section of the AIES-SORG daily, through a list that must contain the name of the passenger, nationality, arriving flight and departing flight, of the following nationalities:

2. Based on the list, the airlines will be charged a fee of US $1,000.00 + VAT, per passenger.

3. The Billing, Collection and Payments Section of the AIES-SOARG will issue the corresponding fiscal document weekly, consolidating the details presented by the airlines.

w.e.f. October 1st, 2023 Brazil will start to require a visa from US, Canadian and Australian passport holders. This visa is expected to be requested online through a website that has not yet been released.

The Brazilian Sydney's Consulate published on their webpage that the Electronic Visa site will be available from September 1st, 2023 but without further details. Unfortunately, that's all we know for now. If the electronic system is not ready, the government may extend the visa waiver period to a later date.

Initially, Japanese citizens were included in this list, however, Brazil has just signed a tourist visa exemption agreement with the Japanese government, valid from September 1st, 2023.
