Birling Gap: 30 miles from Steyning and an hour's drive.

It's the on the South Downs Way footpath, which runs along the 'Seven Sisters' chalk cliffs. There is a National Trust tea room and car park.

Cliff falls and landslides can happen without warning. The white cliffs are beautiful but also very fragile. Always stay at least 5 metres from the cliff edge!

Bramber's beautiful churchyard outside St Nicholas Church. It was built by the Normans the end of the 11th century as part of Bramber Castle.

Brighton's Victorian Bandstand:

The bandstand re-opened in summer 2009, after a major restoration project to return the building to its Victorian glory. It is used for regular concerts, on Sunday afternoons, from April to September.
