Last week we visited Dever Springs currently under exciting renovations to reopen in April/25!

It was fantastic to see the lodge being rebuilt complete with spacious dining room, fully equipped kitchenette, wine fridges, and outdoor marquee and decking area ready for the return of our group day and corporate clients in the new season.

New fishery manager Aaron Holt has truly taken this project head-on with professionally finished otter fencing and big plans for the famous Jurassic Tank that lays beneath the fishing lodge. Needless to say that the future looks very bright indeed.

A slightly swollen Wallop Brook here at Nether Wallop Mill.

This famous little chalk stream is fondly known as nine mile water, it feeds into the River Test just a few klicks downstream, and if ever you come to the Mill for a private tuition, foundation course or family day, your fishing instructor might just take you for a river walk through the water meadows to try and outwit one of the beautiful little wild trout that call it their home.
