It definitely wasn't long enough, but I did make the most of my time in Doha!
I dropped my bags, made a quick change, and headed straight to the nearest metro station. Before arriving, I had jotted down a few places that I wanted to see, which included:
- Museum of Islamic Art
- Katara Cultural Village/ Katara Hills
- Souq Waqif
- Doha Corniche
The ease of use and convenient transportation system made my time an adventure!
For those who may not be as comfortable, there is also the option to hop on a city bus tour, where you are able to see the highlights of Doha.
These are only a few suggestions, as there are more sites and activities within and outside of Doha to suit everyone.

Take a reindeer safari in the sparkling snow and try snowshoeing, then spend your evenings gazing in awe at the dark sky hoping to see the brilliant colours of the Aurora Borealis.
