Here at Mad Hatter Coach Travel we know how important it is for fans to be able to experience the thrill of watching your club play not only at home but following them around the country. There's no better thrill than watching your club bring back a win, and although we can’t guarantee you a winning result, we can guarantee you safe and comfortable travel there whatever the outcome. We are committed to making travel for the football season affordable and accessible to as many fans as possible and have so far already released two saver schemes for families as being a family ran company; we understand the importance of being able to share your passion with the next generation of hatters.

Our current schemes include the One-and-a-half scheme and the Family Travel scheme. The One-and-a-half scheme is aimed at single adults travelling with a single child allowing them to do so at a discounted rate on top of our already affordable adult and child prices. Whereas the Family Travel Ticket provides a discounted rate for two adults and two children travelling together.

We realise the cost-of-living crisis has hit us all and non-more than our most vulnerable demographic, pensioners. Football is not just a sport it’s a community and a family and we know that this is something many of the elderly unfortunately may not find elsewhere in their lives. Our mission at Mad Hatters Coach travel is to make football travel affordable and this is why we are proud to introduce you to our newest cost saving scheme the Golden-Ager scheme. This scheme is accessible for fans over the age of 65, the discounted rate will be up to 10% of the cost of travel.

There will be a scheduled 30 minute comfort break en-route at the services to allow you to stretch your legs and grab a snack. The outbound journey will terminate at the club ground where you will be signposted to a specified pub accepting away fans. Return time will be 30minutes after the final whistle blows.

A big Thank you to the 230 Fans onboard the coach now making their way back north as well as the stewards onboard making sure everyone is enjoying themselves, And a massive thanks to Elite Services Ltd (Coaches) for making this possible with the logistics for 4 coaches.

We have some exciting news to share with everyone! Following our launch in the end of December 2024 having now ran transport to three away games, we are now running a new and exciting scheme giving our lovely customers a chance to win a special discount every month.

Feedback forms for Stockport County Away Days

Good Evening Everyone,

Just a Quick reminder to everyone traveling with us to Crystal Palace that we are departing Strawberry Gardens 07:30 AM and Edgeley Library ( Edgeley Road) at 07:45.
Parking is available around the surrounding estates for off road parking

We are planning on stopping at a services on the way down for a comfort stop before continuing on down to Selhurst Park where you will have time for a beverage of your choice before the match.

We will be running football cards on the way down but just remember this is cash only. Stewards will be sat at the front of the coach in the front row.

After the game you will have aprx 30 minutes after the final whistle to get on the vehicle before we have to leave. So make sure you remember where we are parked and what coach you are on

If Anyone has any Questions as always our inbox is open

Bin bags will be scattered around the vehicle so please ensure all rubbish goes in them, these vehicles will be going back out on Monday morning doing school runs.

As we have families onboard please be mindful of how you leave the toilets and that also includes the toilets are for Number 1’s only anything else will be services toilets

As I’m trying to stay warm on a night shift tonight, thought I would give you all a sneak peak of what vehicles we will be using on the weekend for Crystal Palace, All vehicles
have a toilet on board (all in normal locations except silver one where it is at the back of the coach)
Phone charging ports make sure to bring a cable as you don’t want a flat phone battery
All vehicles have really good heating too so you won’t be freezing cold for long
The drivers are top draw too 😉👌🏻

CRYSTAL PALACE ANNOUNCEMENT

Over the last few days we have been working hard to get this sorted so you guys know well in advance what coach you will be on ahead of Sundays fixture with Crystal Palace. There are a few small announcements for information you will need to know prior:

• Each Coach will have a steward on board. They will be sat at the front on the crew seat- if you have any issues whilst on board please direct your concerns or enquiries to them.
• We will have football cards on the trip down for anyone who may be interested, this will be cash only.
• Please be mindful we are a family friendly coach company and there will be families and groups with children on board.
• Whilst refreshments are allowed on the vehicle please be mindful of disposing of your waste. Bin bags will be situated around the coach for rubbish you may have. We have worked hard with Elite in order to provide 4 coaches so being mindful of the staff who will be cleaning the coaches would be greatly appreciated and allow us to continue running a low cost service.

Pick up points and departure times:
Strawberry Gardens Offerton- 07:30
Edgeley Library- 07:45

•Please arrive around 15 minutes before departure to allow swifter boarding.

Please see the images attached to find your coach number and seat number, seats have been allocated to allow families and large parties to sit together for easier travel.

Moving on Into the future with our new online booking system when you check out you will know straight away what coach number your on and you will automatically get given confirmation of travel within your proof of purchase.

Due to recent interest we have been able to secure pre-travel amenities for those who may be interested. This will include a premises which will be opening for food and drink at great prices approximately an hour before departures and also have the option for takeout.

Additionally unmonitored parking will be available on site for those who may require this. The venue is a short walk from one of our pick up points, this however unfortunately does include a steep incline which may not be suitable for all patrons. Other pick up points will still be available from points already designated on our routes. As always those with accessibility issues can contact our team in regard to accessible travel.

This however is something that we will only be able to provide if there is enough interest so feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
