We've been enjoying some amazing sunsets and beautiful blue skies amongst the more stormy winter weather here this week at the Hebrides Bothy!

We haven't fully opened for 2025 bookings but have limited dates available over Winter and Spring - if you're in need of a peaceful recharge or want to celebrate something special, we have a winter special for £90 per night, including everything you need for a cosy firepit night with a view!

Looking for a winter break or something different to do locally to celebrate a birthday or special event?

Hebrides Bothy offers a special getaway, just 5miles from Stornoway.

The Bothy is a perfect wee getaway with firepit, marshmallows, smart tv, cosy blankets and private costal views. We can also decorate to make your stay extra special!

1 and 2night stays available until March for £90 per night or £170 for 2nights. The Bothy sleeps us to 4people.

It's our favourite season for our cosy cabin. Perfect weather to stop, curl up with on the sofa with a throw and a good book and watch the changing coastal skies from the large round window.

Spend the evening at the firepit, wrapped in a blanket and watching the Northern Lights or beautiful sunsets, when the weather allows, or cosy up with board games, books or movie night 🌅

Hebrides Bothy is fully equipped with all firepit supplies, books, reading lamp, smart tv with access to netflix, etc, and a Bluetooth radio speaker if you'd rather relax to music or audiobooks. 📻

From bright sunshine to a dark, howling gale and hailstones in half an hour 😂 Our plans for the day have changed slightly! The joys of Scottish weather!

Lights and fire are now on and listening to the hail while our wee Westie runs around the garden trying to catch all the hailstones - switch to a cosy day! 😆

Morning walk after the storm - a high tide and a glimpse of sun.

Calm before the possible storm.
A beautiful clear and calm evening here at the Bothy - we stopped on the way home earlier so my daughter could take a quick pic of the moon over Swordale, taken from the Braighe.
It's always hard to believe the forecast for bad weather when it's like this, but the weather can change so quickly here - we are enjoying the view from the Bothy tonight until the weather changes!
