Ringshall Grange was originally a rectory. The whole of the downstairs was a large school room where children from adjacent villages would come for school lessons from 1800 to 1900.
When it was converted in 1900 into a residential house, they would have blocked up that window to create smaller rooms, creating a kitchen and living room ✨

Walberswick Beach is just an hour’s drive from @ringshall_grange_suffolk. The journey itself is part of the experience, as it takes you through the famous Suffolk Tourist Trail that’s really scenic and has loads of attractions.
Most of our guests have a lovely day out here, which we did recently with the kids.
Along the way, we stopped by:
📍@stonham_barns_park — a family complex with everything from adventure golf, a fun fair, an owl sanctuary and pottery painting.
📍@yoxford_antiques — a lovely place to stop for lunch and see lots of collectibles and all sorts of different pieces.
We also enjoyed dinner at @denningtonqueen on the way back — a charming pub with a delightful garden area.
