Call for Submissions!
Ipswich Printweek, our annual event to promote printmaking, which we staged at The Whistler Gallery for the first time last year, was a great success, with over 50% of the work displayed in our exhibition sold.
This year Ipswich Printweek 2022 is going to be another fantastic week long celebration of printmaking and we are calling for submissions from printmakers who live within a 20 mile radius of Ipswich, to be submit work to be considered by our selection panel for the exhibition, which will be held at The Whistler Gallery again, from the 21-28 May.
Please submit jpegs of your work to the panel by 29th of April to [email protected] for the attention of our Creative Director, Al Smyth.

We have 15 free places available on our new Press Ahead printmaking courses starting in December, for anyone who wants a job but finds job-hunting hard. To find out more and see what printmaking is all about, we are running taster sessions next week which you can book through your work coach or email us at [email protected]. To qualify you must be over 18yrs, receiving benefits and able to live and work in the UK. Taster sessions last about an hour. This stunning 20x30inch image was printed and framed here using Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper and AR70 reflection control glass for Justin Minns Photography.

My standard frame is a simple natural oak but custom orders aren't a problem... I'm really pleased with how this one came out, printed 30x20" and framed in white under non reflective glass by Eastern Frames
