🤔❓ What's the difference between a Holiday Home and a Residential Park Home?

✅ Holiday homes are not built to be permanent residences, whereas residential park homes have to be your main residence and come with a right of permanent residence.
✅ Holiday homes are built to meet different legislature, adhering to the BSEN1647 regulations, of which the key difference is the standards of insulation.
✅ You live in a residential park home all year round, whereas most holiday homes run a 7-12 month season.
✅ You do not pay council tax on a holiday home, but must produce a valid council tax bill for proof of permanent residence.
✅ Residential park homes will start from around £220,000 whilst a holiday home will be available from £35,995.
✅ Residential park homes may only be purchased by individuals aged 45+, whilst holiday homes can be bought by anyone over the age of 18.
✅ Both residential park homes and holiday homes will incur fees, but they cover different costs related to the park.
