One of our tours was lucky enough to get caught up with the Battle of Stow anniversary this week!
The Battle of Stow-on-the-Wold (1646) was the final battle of the English Civil War! It marked the last major conflict between the Royalists and Parliamentarians, ending with a decisive defeat for King Charles I’s forces.
Legend has it, the bloodshed was so fierce that the street known as “Digbeth Street” supposedly means “Duck’s Blood” from the battle!
Stow may be a beautiful, quaint market town today, but its history is anything but peaceful!

Our new minibus is nearly with us - It's due to arrive this month and she's going to need a name!
We've always named our buses using letters in their registration so RX24 TFY was named Tiffany and KT17 YNC was named Katie.

But what do we call our new bus - GX25 BVJ ???
