Late Night Adventures - 💤

Arriving at my chosen mark at 8PM, I braced myself for a long night of fishing with temperatures dipping below 0. ❄️

The night started off with plenty of action with dogfish coming in left and right, constantly firing out fresh baits in hopes of landing something better. The thrill of the chase kept me warm despite the chilly air!

Around 2AM something a little different than the rods nodding away with dogfish sat on the baits, I heard a decent ratchet on the reel, and the line had plummeted into slackline, I knew it was something substantial. To my delight, I reeled in a stunning 68cm bass pushing the scales to 6lb on the nose, While it wasn’t the intended species for the night, it was a good bycatch and worth the trip 🤙🏻

Just a little reminder for anyone that doesn't know and I'm sure the majority do but as we are coming into February all bass will be catch and release only until 31st March ✌🏻🎣🎣

Let The Cod, See the rod 🎯

Lewis W-b is relatively new to UK Shore Angling, we ventured out last night, and he picked up the target species with a lovely conditioned codling and the best fish of the evening in the bitter cold weather 🥶

learning the take me out way, teaching and guiding him on the path of baits, rigs, weather, tides, conditions and feeding patterns while testing our tackle range✌🏻

So true 👌🏻
A few nights ago i pushed myself to go for a few hours due to the state of mind I had got myself into after so much everything happening this year.... Alot of loss, love, emotion, ups and downs, it's been a huge rollercoaster for me this year. A few days ago I went out on the coast, fishing wasn't at its best but that didn't matter.
What mattered to me at that time was being out in the fresh sea air and clearing the mind.
If you ever feel like your mental health is at a low then I would suggest getting out and doing what you love the most 🩶

This year has almost come to an end and what a crazy and manic year it's been 😵‍💫
As usual no where near enough fishing has been done but the opportunities and windows that have come up I have made the most of and the majority have produced 🤙🏻
Roll on the next few months bringing out the Take Me Out Fishing tackle range! The first batch is currently being shipped while the next is being manufactured 👌🏻
