Unigar Cottages Three self catering cottages in the parish of Sandwick in Orkney. They provide a perfect home from h A local shop/post office 5 minutes away in Quoyloo.

The cottages are situated in the parish of Sandwick in the West Mainland with spectactular views over the countryside but is peaceful and secluded and within easy access of a wide range of local amenities and sites of interest

The cottages are set in 2 acres of land so have easy access and private. We have installed a 5kw wind turbine, air source under floor heating and anaerobic digester for all

the waste with no environmental impact. Dounby village is 4 miles away and has shop, pharmacy, hairdresser and pub/restaurant. We also have a wet/dry areas for the fishing and shooting parties, and also offer freezing facilities

Bicycles can be provided by prior arrangement. As we are on a working farm a tour can also be offered. Welcome pack provided on arrival

Our Visitor Centre tasting hall will be opening tomorrow Wednesday 27th March - we will be serving a selection of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks, accompanied by our award winning beers - What's not to like... food will be served from 11:30 - 3:45 the centre will be open from 10am - 5 pm if you wish a tour please contact us directly on 01856 841777 to book.
