This November only: carp anglers enjoy * bivvy fishing * at

Following an (inevitable) delay in sale of the fishery, we’ve decided to offer 24-hour bivvy fishing on the Moat and Road lakes, throughout November.

Tickets cost £20/24 hours (three rods - noon till noon) on weekdays; £25 from Friday-Monday.

A maximum of three anglers will be permitted on the Road Lake - four on The Moat - on any given day.

Swims are currently available from November 4th - December 2nd. And booking is by phone only - on 01787 584311.

Heads up: new rules! From now till November 3rd, individual anglers fishing from a lakeside pod will be able to use bait boats (sensibly!) and up to three rods. You're welcome. As always, booking is online or by phone.

Due to a freak accident involving a band saw and a misdirected thumb, our longstanding handy-bloke is on light duties for the foreseeable. Consequently, we’re now

** urgently seeking a Gardener **

to take care of the weekly grass cutting and strimming duties on our glamping and fishing complex in Clare, Suffolk.

Hours are flexible, and rates are negotiable; but you’ll need to be available for ten or so hours every week, and have your own mower and strimmer.
