Swallow Barn

Swallow Barn is an individual converted barn nestling deep in the Suffolk countryside. The barn has been designed to cater for practicality without compromising on quality and cosiness. As dog owners ourselves we know how difficult it can be to find somewhere that will take dogs and not everyone wants to leave their dog behind at the kennels as they are after all part of the family! private garden and in addition guests can enjoy shared access to our private meadow with pond behind the property. The area is a real haven for wildlife and bird watchers can enjoy watching the nesting swallows practice ducking and diving over the field in the cool of the evening. You may also see a deer graze in the field and the occasional magical barn owl. If you like seeing hares then the early spring and summer months find them in abundance in the nearby fields. We can also offer a variety of lovely walks across unspoilt countryside where you can enjoy peace and solitude. We are approximately 20 minutes drive from the historic town of Bury St Edmunds. Stowmarket is approximately 20 minutes away and from there it is approximately an hour by train to London Liverpool Street. We have an abundance of good eateries and old pubs offering everything from comfort food to fine dining. Suffolk is a haven for the arts and still houses many lovely independent shops and with so many things to do we can't wait to share this beautiful area with you.
