Please come and enjoy the beautiful Christmas trees at St. Georges Church Langton, this weekend. Set in this ancient church, with many trees twinkling in the darkness of the church, all beautifully crafted by the many organisations taking part. Open from 10am till 5pm, Saturday, Sunday Monday.

This is the Heroes Haven tree, depicting the military services we try to help.

What a week it has been for photography! I am thrilled to bits to have been able to shoot the aurora on home turf at long last. I don't think I ever thought I would photograph aurora at Corfe. The only down-side, is that I'll need to completely re-think my April Fool strategy now!

Today, we commemorate the liberation of the Falkland Islands 42 years ago. We remember the 255 British military servicemen who died in the conflict in 1982 and their bereaved families, and all those who came back physically and mentally injured. For over 40 years, the Army’s national charity has proudly supported Falklands veterans and we stand with them today as they remember their fallen comrades.

Wishing the Princess of Wales a full recovery and we look forward to seeing her back doing the job she excels in. Thinking of Royal Family at this difficult time with both the King and Princess Catherine suffering illness which the world has been speculating on, the British people will be supporting them throughout their treatment.

Join us in sending the very best wishes to the Princess of Wales, who has just revealed she is in the early stages of treatment after cancer was found in tests. Our thoughts are with all of the Royal Family during these very difficult times.
