The postponed events from last weekend are also taking place in Swanage this weekend.
Lighting Up Lives Event is on on Friday, 13th December, starting at 5:30pm, for the first night of the Pier illuminations.

Due to predicted high winds from Storm Darragh it is unsafe to go ahead with the planned Christmas Market on Saturday. Swanage Rotary have managed to change the date and importantly the road closures to

🎁The Swanage Christmas Street Market is back for 2024 and bigger than ever! Stallholders will be lining the streets of Station Road and into Institute Road. Stroll along Shore Road to visit the Artisans on the Beach for more gift buying inspiration.
10am - 4pm this Saturday 7th December.

🚗Parking is just £2 per day in our long stay Car Parks.
So make a day of it and tackle your Christmas shopping list with some of our wonderful traders and independant shops, followed by a bite to eat in a local cafe, restaurant, or a cosy pub!

🌟The annual Artisans on the Beach event is back - in its 10th year - and in full swing!

🎁Around 30 talented local Artisans are located in our Shore Road beach huts, all offering uniquly made handmade items.

🎄Open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout December, with some huts also open during the week.

🎅🏼10am – 4.30pm weather permitting

Swanage Information Centre provides information for visitors to Swanage and local residents.

Details of Swanage Remembrance Day Service & Parade Sunday 10th November🥀

Join Swanage in remembering the services of the Armed Forces and their families at the town’s annual church service and parade.

Timings:
1.45pm: Parade to meet on Shore Road
2pm: Parade – The parade will march from The Mowlem toward St Mary’s Church
2.30pm: Church service – Annual service of remembrance at St Mary’s Church
3.30pm/4pm: Wreath-laying – After the service, process through town to the war memorial where wreaths are laid (about 4pm)
5pm: Swanage RBL – Refreshments and more at the Legion from 5pm as part of the Legion’s Poppython fundraiser

Durlston Country Park is a must visit during half term, we love the fun Halloween trail for the kids! 🎃

We have plenty of workshops and events over the half term to keep everyone entertained from drawing workshops, to Purbeck Film Festival films and drop in crafts to a Ranger led 'Wild Durlston' kids activity. Topping it off, we have our super spooktacular Halloween trail running daily through the half term!
