Before booking your next getaway, ensure your passport is travel-ready by checking its validity and condition.

✈️ Many countries require a passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your planned return date.

🛂 Additionally, some destinations may mandate a minimum number of blank pages for entry stamps.

📑 It’s also crucial that your passport is undamaged, as even minor issues can lead to denied entry.

🛑 Remember, passport processing times can be lengthy, especially during peak seasons, so apply for renewals well in advance of your trip. 📅

Just back from a vibrant getaway in Marrakech, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience with you all!

I flew courtesy of EasyJet from Birmingham (so convenient and great departure times!) and stayed at the Be Live Experience—a comfortable base with a touch of Moroccan charm. 🕌

First impressions? Marrakech is a sensory overload in the best way! The bustling souks, colorful gardens, and incredible sunsets over the Atlas Mountains stole my heart. Here are some of my top tips:

Getting there: With flights from multiple UK airports, it’s easier than ever to immerse yourself in the magic of Morocco. And trust me, a direct flight saves precious exploring time!

Where to stay: The Be Live Experience is perfect for relaxation after a busy day in the Medina. Great facilities, a welcoming vibe, family friendly and close to all the action. For those seeking accommodation right in the action, I have the perfect recommendation for you.

Must-try dining: Don’t miss out on a rooftop dinner overlooking Jemaa el-Fnaa square—try the tagine with freshly baked bread. Street food lovers, grab a glass of fresh orange juice from the stalls!

Don’t miss: Visit the Majorelle Garden for a serene escape, haggle for treasures in the souks, and enjoy the ultimate relaxation in a traditional hammam.

One personal highlight? Watching the sunset from a rooftop terrace while sipping on Moroccan mint tea—it was pure magic.

🚨 Heathrow Airport is CLOSED – Important Travel Update 🚨

Please be aware that Heathrow Airport is closed today due to a fire at a nearby electrical substation. This means:

All flights out of Heathrow are cancelled today.

There will be a knock-on effect for the next few days with cancellations and delays.

Flights into Heathrow will be diverted to other airports, causing travel disruption.

As flights are diverted to other airports, those airports could also experience disruption, flight changes, or cancellations.

Fortunately none of my clients are affected in the immediate but I will be monitoring the situation and contacting those who may be affected.

I’ve just heard a shocking fact about touring holidays.

You might think they’re expensive but [PLOT TWIST ALERT].
They’re typically 30% CHEAPER than booking everything yourself!

Sounds crazy, right?

But it makes sense when you think about it:

Have you ever considered Albania?

With some of the most unspoilt beaches in the med, multiple historic cities, some of the friendliest locals and incredible food and drink, including speciality local coffee, Albania is well worth adding to your shortlist. Plus its cheap! A 3 course meal averages £10-£20 which is dramatically cheaper than Italy or Greece.

Albania may have seen a 56% increase in visitors since 2019, but with less than 5m foreign visitors each year (compared to over 16m in neighbouring Croatia!) this beautiful country can be still be classed as off the beaten track.
