J-ME GRIFFITHS & DR SJ – GROOVE DIVIDER - FAR021
Swansea based label Foxtrot Alpha Recordings are at it again. With their new release from head honchos J-Me Griffiths & Dr SJ. Plus, some incredible remixes from Kevin Boyle, Ben Dickeson & AC Trixta.
1. Groove Divider (Original Mix)
After focussing on signing new artists to their label and catching up on DJ gigs throughout the year, J-Me & Dr SJ are back with another super cool melodic progressive house release. Their original version certainly sets the standard with production and an epic scale of a journey in the track. Containing some amazing parts such as tough drums, flutes, pads, harpsichords, growling basses, chopped up breaks and cheeky scratching. This track is uplifting, emotional and has a catchy vocal that teases you in all the right places. Ideal for those peak time moments on the dance floor.
2. Groove Divider (Kevin Boyle Remix)
Kevin Boyle AKA: Ten Bob picks up the pace with his progressive trance workout. With pumping drums, dreamy pads and packed with emotion. Still retaining the original parts yet taking his production to a whole new level. The breakdown section’s with all the lush melodic synths and warm bass sounds all come together, creating a very loved up remix.
3. Groove Divider (Ben Dickeson Operator Remix)
AKA: Rough Cut / Electronic Project Lab, has delivered an outstanding melodic break mix, that will put a smile on your face followed by goose bump central. If you like Hybrid or Framewerk, then you will love this. Ben’s mix is a real melodic journey right from the start. He has managed to work most of the original parts, evenly throughout the track. Yet totally added his signature sound with very cleaver production and some pretty cool ear candy effects in all the right places. This remix is on fire!
4. Groove Divider (AC Trixta Remix)
After the success of his last release, singed to Foxtrot Alpha called “Vibrations”
AC Trixta is back, returning with a super cool funky, piano house remix. This version really stands out. Containing some uplifting piano chords with a touch of oldschool happy house. Trixta really knows how to remix with his many talents. Making great use of the vocals, squelchy basses, scratching and of course that crispy breakbeat. This mix is definitely and all-rounder that should move any cool educated dance floor out there.
