Last week there were some lovely comments about the beautiful trees at Pontardawe cross.

As mentioned these are Liquid Amber trees.

If interested we can source these trees for you at great prices.

The trees are approximately £70 - £125 each depending on size.

These are moderately sized trees between 6 - 12 feet.

Personally we think the larger more expensive variety offers better value for money and a more instant feature.

For decades Britons have loved and cherished their AGA cookers, but alas, with rising fuel prices, these iconic cookers are sadly going out of fashion and are being replaced up and down the country by more economical cookers.

In our Owl Barn, our burgundy coloured Aga is powered by oil and not only provides a superb cooker but it also heats the kitchen area.

An added benefit, as many of our friends and guests will testify is that when gently stood against, it is probably one of the best bottom warmers around!

So, when you stay in our Old Barn be sure to cook and bake with the Aga, but also lean against, chat and warm yourself against our lovely Aga❤️❤️❤️

Blue Pool bay is a secluded but charming bay tucked away at the north west tip of the Gower. Its remoteness and lack of access make this one of the quietest beaches on the Peninsula. The main feature and attraction of the bay is a large circular rock pool at the western end of the beach. At 15ft wide and 8ft deep its the perfect natural swimming pool. The beach is only accessible around 2 hours either side of Low tide (sometimes less) so make sure you check the tide times before visiting❤️

🚜A little Indian summer means that at last, we have got around to cutting our hay field❤️ 🚜Although it won’t make hay as the heavy dew and cold nights means that the grass will not dry enough for hay but it will make haylage instead - a form of damp hay which is sealed in black plastic to prevent it rotting. #haymaking #nantygasegfarm #farmgetaway #harvesttime #autumnharvest
