In celebration of Welsh Dark Skies Week (17-26th Feb) -an image hanging in the cottage of Three Cliffs Bay by Dan Santillo Photography, someone who excells at capturing the night skies at the Brecon Beacons and Gower coast. Great opportunities to enjoy the dark sky reserves or indeed simply from the cottage surroundings.

Our Story

2 self catering family friendly cottages, 4* in a rural setting, easy access from the M4, convenient to tour South Wales. Sleep 6 and 4-5

So it’s time to put faces to your cottage stay! We began renting out a holiday cottage almost 14 years ago, firstly with the larger cottage. A few years later we also renovated the adjoining cottage into a slightly smaller holiday let. Having given up working as a textile designer in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳 when we had young children, the renovation projects became an outlet for my creativity. Allen’s background in engineering and construction brought a practical element into plans! Now we chose different tasks within the business - I really enjoy the meeting and greeting of guests and love to see guests fully discovering our lovely area. Allen stays behind the scenes doing essential background tasks and has the all important job of cutting firewood and making sure guests have logs for the wood burners! The now grown up children help when around, mainly when we get into tangles with technology! This is the “square mile” of my childhood, having been brought up on the nearby farm, in this idyllic location. So I am the one to ask about great places to visit and hidden secrets of the area , and simply love to see all guests enjoying their dream holiday. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
