What a fantastic walk with our Swansea Carers outdoor gang today. A beautiful circular from Bishopston through Hareslade, down to Brandy Cove and Pwlldu which we had to ourselves for lunch! 😊 Lits of history en route including the chantry acre medieval church which has finally been cleared of brambles, and the remains of Rachel’s / Pwlldu cottage. And as for the weather ……..👌👌👌

Sublime weather today, perfect for our Swansea’s hidden history walk with our Swansea Carers walking group. We explored hidden Quaker graveyards, found the old medieval town walls, viewed shrapnel markings from the blitz on Castle st and so much more ! A perfect day finished off with a lunch at the Queens Hotel who as always provided the best welcome. Thanks also to The Grand Hotel Swansea for being so accommodating. Thanks to all who came! 😊

A completely glorious day with The Outdoor Partnership and super amazing young people supported by Llamau. We had a glorious game of ‘duck stones’ (gower boules) on Pwlldu beach, explored the history of the area before a bushcraft session and some cracking hot dogs cooked over the fire. Days like these are so special , big smiles all day. Thanks to Liz at Cliff Acre again for providing us with such an incredible space to run our sessions. Much gratitude ! 🙏

PLEASE SHARE FAR AND WIDE😬 Down at cathole cave today and there is an extremely loose boulder in the archway at the rear entrance. It looks like it's going to go any minute. Am contacting NRW and others but please avoid if you're out exploring. Popular area for kids to explore. Avoid is my advice. Cheers. Stuart 👍
