Travel dreams for 2025?

This small group tour popped up today and it brought back fond memories of a similar Costa Rican Adventure I took a couple of years ago with my family.

This tour begins in the vibrant heart of San José, where history meets breathtaking city views. Then, wake up to the stunning Arenal Volcano at Lomas del Volcán, where lush trails and soothing hot springs await!

Next, escape into nature at Burbi Lake Lodge, surrounded by peaceful lakes and mystical cloud forests. Then, unwind at Shana by the Beach, just steps from the pristine Manuel Antonio National Park—where tropical beauty meets ocean bliss!

Wrap up your adventure with a final night of luxury at Gran Hotel Costa before heading home.

Volcanoes to beaches, wildlife to relaxation—Costa Rica is definitely one of our favourite destinations, and thought I’d share a few of my photos from our trip 🦥 🐸

Delighted to receive some photos from Maria Round & Allan, a week into their Sri Lankan adventure!

So far they’ve enjoyed viewing sloth bears and elephants in the Wilpattu & Minneriya National Parks and been wowed by stunning views from their unique & boutique hotels in Sigiriya & Kandy both perfect bases to explore the local culture & temples.

The next 10 days of their trip includes a breathtaking scenic train journey from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya. Followed by more wildlife spotting opportunities in Yala & Bundala National Parks and then a few days to relax by the beach in Mirissa, which is the perfect spot on the south coast to spot blue whales!

I’m really looking forward to hearing all about their holiday and seeing some more fabulous photos when they return.

Making a habit of this!

Just back from a very special couple of days in wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen 🙂 🇩🇰

When our friends invited us to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary at the historic Odd Fellow Palæet, we couldn’t resist a couple of days revisiting this magical city.

We stayed at the incredibly cool, quirky and unique 25hours Hotels Copenhagen - what an experience!

A vinyl chill-out room, vintage typewriters and telephones, a most unusual suspended decor (pterodactyls), thoughtful touches like a free minibar and use of a day bag.

The evening celebrating our friends’ milestone was brilliant, made even more unforgettable when Danish pop sensation Lukas Graham surprised us with a live performance and then casually cycled home afterwards!

Exploring such a gorgeous city in the heart of winter was a perfect way to beat the January blues. I can’t recommend the midwinter city escape highly enough.

❄️ Cheers to 30 years of Travel Counsellors! 🥂🥂

What an incredible couple of days I had at this year’s annual conference!

I had the pleasure of catching up with colleagues and connecting with our amazing suppliers. We heard from some inspiring speakers who had us all feeling like we could conquer the world (or at least book the perfect holiday 😜).

The après-ski themed winter wonderland ⛄️ with curling, ice skating, inflatable igloo with mulled wine & mountain food was a great way to kick off the weekends celebrations! ❄️🥌⛸️🍷
