My name is Jenny Davis and I'm an independent travel expert at award-winning company, Travel Counsellors.

I'm Jenny, and I've had a love of travel since my first time abroad aged 13, when I was lucky enough to explore Tunisia. I grew up in northwest London but spent the past two decades living in Bristol, Kiev, Paris and Hamburg, before settling in Wiltshire. I would never adventure out without my Kindle, and my travel wishlist includes sharing breakfast with my favourite animals at Giraffe Manor, Nairobi. I genuinely care about every client's booking from start to finish, advising them to embrace the pace of the destination they're in, so they can fully relax and enjoy their time away. River cruising is such a beautiful way to travel.

I'm just back from four fab nights on the Danube with a small group of fellow Travel Counsellors, courtesy of Avalon Waterways!

From Munich to Vienna, it was pure European charm.

Very excited to have just sent my amazing clients the final details for their forthcoming Bhutan trip.🇧🇹

Their incredible itinerary includes the extraordinary annual Black-necked Crane Festival at Gangtey Monastery in Phobjokha Valley.

This festival celebrates the return of these majestic birds, a globally vulnerable species that migrate to Bhutan from parts of China and Arunachal Pradesh every winter.

Gangtey was also featured in this week's episode of Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby on the BBC with the high-altitude, Gangtey Lodge, a hidden gem of a hotel with its Buddhist connections.

I just can't wait to hear about this Bhutan adventure.

Maria and Allan had an amazing week in Mauritius on their first visit. It was a pleasure to help make it happen 🌞

Hiring a car provided the perfect opportunity to check out the island's stunning landscapes, majestic mountain peaks and cascading waterfalls.

Just got back from an amazing trip to Aberdeen in Scotland!

The city's stunning architecture and historic landmarks like Balmoral Castle truly took my breath away. 🌊 And don't even get me started on the rugged cliffs and sandy beaches - absolutely breathtaking! 🌳

Whether you're into hiking, fishing, golfing, or just exploring the city centre, Aberdeen has something for everyone.

Can't wait to go back! 🏴

I had a delightful coffee morning in Cirencester learning about the beauty and charm of Jersey and Guernsey with Nicky Bird-Premier. The islands indeed offer a diverse range of activities, from stunning beaches to historical landmarks and delicious culinary experiences.
