As members, all of our drivers and management have access to outreach systems including a confidential mental health helpline, legal advice and a benevolent fund.
Driving can be a stressful and lonely job, sometimes with unsociable hours, and we are proud to be able to offer our wonderful team independent support, should they ever need it.

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed a deal to purchase three more Yutong Bus & Coach GT12 coaches from Pelican Engineering Group for next spring at the
Two of the vehicles will join Passenger Plus Ltd and one will join our sister company Amb Travel in Ashford, Kent.
Shaking hands on the deal are our directors, Phillip Hodgson and Steve O’Neill
This was an extra special occasion as we celebrated Phil’s retirement and it was also his birthday!
This takes the number of GT12s operated to 11 and total number of Yutongs in the fleet to 22 since we bagan our relationship with Pelican in 2015.

Happy Monday.......
There are some days when the M25 just won't play ball....
Lorry fire at J6 and the The east bore of the Dartford Tunnel is closed following a large spillage. 🙈
Luckily all our vehicles are fitted with HD traffic enabled TomTom sat navs and our amazing team of drivers and back office crew are working hard to get everyone where they are going safely and on time.

We are hiring!
Operations Assistant / Fleet Maintenance Controller
Passenger Plus are a multi award winning bus and coach operator specialising in long term, corporate last mile contracts for blue-chip clients in and around London and the home counties.

We have a vacancy in our operations department for a fleet maintenance controller based at our main operational centre in Tadworth, Surrey.
The successful applicant will join our small operations team assisting with the safe and compliant management of our fleet. Specifically you will also be responsible for controlling the maintenance bookings of our very modern fleet of 60 minibuses and coaches by our external contracted maintenance providers.

Tasks will include;
· Assisting the traffic office with the day to day operation of our fleet and driving team
· Investigation of driver reported walk round defects and the clearing of defects once repaired
· Booking vehicles in for repairs, 6 weekly inspections and servicing
· Communication with our suppliers to check progress on repair tasks
· Communication with our operations team to ensure vehicles are presented at the repair facilities and to update on progress and confirm vehicle return to service dates
· Accurate recording of all maintenance and vehicle documents in support of our impeccable compliance standards
· Checking of supplier invoicing and recording of costs
· Monthly reporting of maintenance overview, vehicle uptime and costs to senior management
· On boarding new vehicles and off boarding disposals
· Identifying cost savings and efficiencies
· Reducing downtime and VORs

All of our defect reporting and maintenance is managed electronically using TruFleet and Distinctive Systems Coach Manager so a knowledge of these systems is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a full time position 08:00 – 17:30 each day with 1 hour for lunch.
There is also a requirement to cover the on call phones one weekend in four.
This role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
