We are delighted to announce that we have agreed a deal to purchase three more Yutong Bus & Coach GT12 coaches from Pelican Engineering Group for next spring at the
Two of the vehicles will join Passenger Plus Ltd and one will join our sister company Amb Travel in Ashford, Kent.
Shaking hands on the deal are our directors, Phillip Hodgson and Steve O’Neill
This was an extra special occasion as we celebrated Phil’s retirement and it was also his birthday!
This takes the number of GT12s operated to 11 and total number of Yutongs in the fleet to 22 since we bagan our relationship with Pelican in 2015.

Happy Monday.......
There are some days when the M25 just won't play ball....
Lorry fire at J6 and the The east bore of the Dartford Tunnel is closed following a large spillage. 🙈
Luckily all our vehicles are fitted with HD traffic enabled TomTom sat navs and our amazing team of drivers and back office crew are working hard to get everyone where they are going safely and on time.

We are hiring!
Operations Assistant / Fleet Maintenance Controller
Passenger Plus are a multi award winning bus and coach operator specialising in long term, corporate last mile contracts for blue-chip clients in and around London and the home counties.

We have a vacancy in our operations department for a fleet maintenance controller based at our main operational centre in Tadworth, Surrey.
The successful applicant will join our small operations team assisting with the safe and compliant management of our fleet. Specifically you will also be responsible for controlling the maintenance bookings of our very modern fleet of 60 minibuses and coaches by our external contracted maintenance providers.

Tasks will include;
· Assisting the traffic office with the day to day operation of our fleet and driving team
· Investigation of driver reported walk round defects and the clearing of defects once repaired
· Booking vehicles in for repairs, 6 weekly inspections and servicing
· Communication with our suppliers to check progress on repair tasks
· Communication with our operations team to ensure vehicles are presented at the repair facilities and to update on progress and confirm vehicle return to service dates
· Accurate recording of all maintenance and vehicle documents in support of our impeccable compliance standards
· Checking of supplier invoicing and recording of costs
· Monthly reporting of maintenance overview, vehicle uptime and costs to senior management
· On boarding new vehicles and off boarding disposals
· Identifying cost savings and efficiencies
· Reducing downtime and VORs

All of our defect reporting and maintenance is managed electronically using TruFleet and Distinctive Systems Coach Manager so a knowledge of these systems is preferable, but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a full time position 08:00 – 17:30 each day with 1 hour for lunch.
There is also a requirement to cover the on call phones one weekend in four.
This role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Today is the first day of our new and improved Stockley Park Business Estate Easit Stockely Plus + service.
Over the past 5 years ridership at the business park near Heathrow has grown and now requires 2 full size low floor vehicles to keep up with demand.
Our fantastic west London team can now welcome even more passengers to a safe, comfortable and reliable link between Hayes and Harlington Station and the park.

We operate one of the UKs newest fleets so over the last couple of months we have replaced 11 vehicles with 15 new ones.
Our coaches are immaculately well kept so we always sell them privately.
Our vehicles are off to Bristol, Scotland, Manchester and Malta.
It’s been great having these vehicles in the fleet and we hope they enjoy their new lives in different parts of the world!

So finally summer has arrived, and as it warms up it’s important for our team to take regular breaks to stay safe and focussed.
Our driver Neil took this advice yesterday on a trip with some lovely passengers to Beachy Head.
Judging by the size of that 99 he must have been working super hard!

We have been very fortunate to win some lovely awards over the years for our industry leading operation, fleet and customer service, but it’s when our drivers receive a little gift and a thank you card from a client that we really feel proud.
Alex transports staff from a train station to a large office park, day in, day out and is always safe, reliable and happy to see our passengers.
We invest massively in providing the right tools for our guys and girls to do a first class job, but it’s people like Alex that really make the difference!
