Nestling in a pretty valley on the western side of the Quantock Hills, Meadowsweet Farm in the hamlet of Newton dates back to medieval times. The farm & the 4 self catering holiday cottages are set in 30 acres of meadows & woodland over which visitors are free to wander. There are picturesque & nostalgic views of the West Somerset Steam Railway & hens roam the farmyard providing fresh free range e

ggs for sale. Within a mile is the pretty village of Bicknoller with thatched cottages & red stone houses, a 15th century church, village shop & Inn serving food. The surrounding unspoit countryside remains little changed from the days when it offered inspiration to the famous poets Coleridge & Wordsworth. The farm is 15 miles from the county town of Taunton & 12 miles from the coastal town of Minehead. The historic harbour town of Watchet is 5 miles, Dunster village with National Trust castle is 11 miles & the town of Williton with supermarkets, banks, newsagent, post office etc. is within 3 miles.
