He’s finished!!! Here’s a quick reel of my Paddington Bear 🐻 made entirely from used postage stamps (even the face…no pens used at all) featuring HM Queen Elizabeth.
Using an illustration by Peggy Fortnum as a guide…Peggy Fortnum drew Paddington Bear when the popular Michael Bond character was reissued in 1998. Her version of Paddington Bear also featured on a postage stamp in 2006 when Royal Mail
produced a set of stamps celebrating animals in children’s literature.
I will be framing this new artwork (with the addition of a small butterfly and possible some text) and possibly producing either framed prints and/or cards if people want a copy of him watch this space.
