Hartwell - holiday house near Tavistock

Hartwell is a former farmhouse near to Tavistock in West Devon. The house sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms and is available for weekly holiday lets or short breaks. Bookings between May and October include our beautiful outdoor heated swimming pool. We’re located just 10 minutes drive from the edge of Dartmoor and 5 minutes from the Cornish border.

There's a good sized kitchen with a cosy Rayburn and long farmhouse table for family meals, plus 2 living rooms, each with a lovely wood burning stove for you to relax next to.

Our large well maintained garden has several different areas to explore, play, dine or snooze! These include a 1 acre meadow with room for the family to let off some steam, a smaller enclosed garden with lawn and patio for outside dining, a parterre garden, a hammock by the fishpond, and the 'sun trap' area around the pool.

Hartwell is an ideal location to stay put and relax, or to base yourself while you explore the many delights of Devon and Cornwall.
