Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃

Well done to all our budding artists at the music school and thank you all for taking part in our Halloween mask art competition. You were all fantastic!!!!!

We have 4 prizes. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to Jennifer Crawford our resident professional artist as well as vocal and piano teacher for judging the competition.

I am delighted to announce the winners as below;

1st Prize
Kelly Hu

strong use of background, enhancing the mask and its colour.
Well thought through on mask design and continuing the theme onto the page.
Well done.

2nd Prize
Ella Fox

I love the play on words and it is well decorated with good use of colour and tectorial bits.

3rd Prize
Sheila Karunanayaka

A strong Venetian style mask, with imaginative use of collage.Quite baroque, with addition of a musical theme too.

4th Prize
H**e Lam

Very neatly finished, and strong colours, with good use of design and pattern

So excited to say that for the 8th Year we have won the Top 3 Music schools in The Wrekin award.

We are so happy and delighted to have won this award again. Thank you to all teachers, parents & families, students and all involved including our receptionists & cleaners for all you do all year to make this such a wonderful place to enjoy and learn music 🎶🎶🎶

Well Friday we said goodbye to Sam Deakin who has been a Vocal teacher with us for the past 12 years. We wish you all the very best in your new venture and a Big Thank You for everything you have done for TMS over the years. Keep in touch Sam and Thanks again for being an amazing teacher & colleague.
Here you are your last lesson Friday with Madeleine who was one of your early pupils at TMS when she was just 6!

We would like to wish Eve Ward-Bevan all the very best as she starts her journey at University tomorrow. You will be missed so much Eve. I have had the absolute honour of tutoring you on keyboard for over 12 years. You have achieved outstanding successes with public performances and gaining up to Grade 7 with London College of Music - don’t forget you said you didn’t want to stop on an odd number! Looking forward in your timeout to work towards Grade 8 🎶🎶🎶🎶 👍😀
You also have achieved well in your vocal studies up to Grade 7 and taken part in many concerts and workshops! So proud of you- then during last 12 months been part of our reception team where you have shown confidence and responsibility and always your lovely smile behind the desk 😊

You will be missed by all especially me 🥰. Enjoy your new venture - you will
be amazing!!

Well today we said goodbye to Josie Howells ( we’ll see her back for cover & concerts and catch ups etc though 😘)

Josie - I’ve had the pleasure of seeing you grow in the last 15 years at Telford Music School as your teacher, and in later years as your friend and colleague (and my adopted daughter! 🤣) from an enthusiastic talented little 8 year old girl into the most amazing talented young lady!!

You are clever, compassionate, talented, super efficient, kind, amazing teacher, secretary extraordinaire…the list goes on…. A woman of many many talents…we are all going to miss you so so much!!! Thank You for everything xx

Good Luck and success is wished for you in your new venture as Primary School Teacher. Your Primary School has certainly struck Gold having you as one of their teachers!!

Saturday after nearly 4 years we say goodbye to Chris Allen as he moves onto ventures new. We wish Chris all the luck in the world and thank him for the wonderful work he has done for us at Telford Music School.
