The Huntsmanβs leap on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path - so called because it is said that a huntsman jumped over the mouth of the chasm on horse back and then died of fright having realised he could have fallen to his death.
The irony!
Just a few minutes along is also St Govanβs Chapel - built mostly in the 13th century and nestled in to the side of the limestone cliff. Itβs so unique! There are steep steps down but it is worth it if you are able. Apparently if you count the steps on the way down and again on the way back, the number is never the same!
Legend has it that the caves opened up for St Govan (a Monk) to hide him from pirates π΄ββ οΈβοΈ
For fans of His Dark Materials, it was a location for filming in the third series π¬

The Dinosaur π¦ Park.
Two minutes drive away from us is the Dinosaur Park, Tenby. Our kids are aged 1, 4 and 7 and we were also with an 8 and 9 year old. There was plenty on offer to keep all of the kids entertained for the full day 10-5 and all of them had a great time. If it rains, there is an indoor play area and soft play. There are park areas, bouncy castles, a maze, go karts, a donut ring slide, trampolines, high ropes, crazy golf, foot golf and more. Entry was Β£68 for us, and thereβs a great offer to return for a day within 6 days of your visit for Β£5 a person.
The cafe is basic but you can take a picnic with you and there are plenty of picnic benches dotted around the site to stop for lunch.
Highly recommended for a fun-filled family day out!
