It's the weekend - time to take a trip to your lodge to enjoy
A Day at the Seaside

The sun peeks out, the sky turns blue,🌞
A perfect day for something new.
We pack our bags, our spirits high,
And head to where the seagulls fly.

The salty breeze begins to tease,
Through swaying grass and seaside trees.
The sand is warm, the waves in tune,
A summer symphony by noon.

Barefoot prints across the shore,
We race to see who’ll paddle more.
The water’s cold—“It’s freezing, wait!”
But laughter warms, we celebrate.

Sandcastles rise, tall and grand,
Built with care by tiny hands.
A moat is dug, a flag is placed,
Until the tide lays waste in haste.

An ice cream cone in hand, we munch,
The flake’s the best, we all agree at lunch.
The seagulls squawk, they want a bite,
We guard our chips with all our might.

A game of cricket, a frisbee throw,
The hours pass, the moments flow.
The sun dips low, its colours spread,
A glowing canvas overhead.

We pack our things, the day is done,
But memories linger, every one.
The seaside sings its magic tune,
A treasure found beneath the moon.
