⭐An End of Season message for all of our Kiln Park and Penally Court Owners in 2024⭐

Hello everyone! Please find below the message that I delivered to all of our Owners who attended the End of Season Party.

“Good Evening Everyone!!!

It is my intense pleasure to welcome you all to the End of Season Party 2024!

It has been such a pleasure to see so many of you over the past few days. To see all of the families and friendships here in this place over the past few days reminds me profoundly of what a special group of people you all are.

I wish to thank you all sincerely for sharing this season with us and each other throughout 2024. Blimey it’s gone so quickly. Thank you all.

We certainly had our challenges at the beginning of this season and I extend my special thanks to all those Owners who were affected for their fantastic patience and understanding as we worked towards resolving the issues that arose. You have been , and are, just fantastic. Thank you all.

I would also like to recognise and thank every single member of the Team who served in Kiln Park and Penally Court this year as in any year, but especially so against the backdrop of the difficult start to the year. They are all, I’m sure that you will agree, just incredible. Their commitment, intent and sheer hard work are irreproachable.

I would also like to recognise Haven for their commitment to recovering and supporting Kiln Park and Penally Court with huge resources towards both restoring the Park in our time of need and working resolutely and strongly against any future possible recurrence.

I will end by thanking you all once again. We really appreciate you and the trust and commitment that you make this year and every year to your Families and Friends and to your Ownership journey with us.

As we say goodbye to the Season of 2024 and look forward to Christmas and the New Year and New Season of 2025 I wish you Love, Happiness, Lots and lots of Fun and of course another year of Memories that last a Lifetime.

Raise your glasses to everyone here and those who are not present but, in our thoughts, tonight.

Cheers.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!”

What a truly happy occasion the weekend was. Thank you all for your company on the weekend and to all of you who weren’t here this time for sharing 2024 with us. As in all things to do with the Parks you are our primary reason for being here and for all of the good things that come out of any season.

Thank you

Park Update - Storm Darragh

Good Morning Everyone,

It’s a beautiful day. Winds are light. It’s cold and dry. Even a touch of sunshine!

The vast majority of caravan external, visual inspections were completed yesterday with no issues apparent. The balance of these individual, visual inspections will be completed today. As per yesterday we will contact any affected Owners if necessary. I stress that there are no issues with caravans apparent. Thanks to Mel, Dale and the Teams for a great day in preparing the parks for the storm event.
There are still a few trees down as our tree contractors were unable to attend yesterday. They are due to visit over the next few days to remove the fallen trees. There are a number of fences down which will be rectified over the coming days. As I am sure that you can imagine there are a lot of small twigs and branches on the roads which will be addressed over the coming days.

Despite our best efforts there were a few gas box covers that came off, some outside furniture that has been blown about, a couple of glass topped tables that were broken and some plant pots that fell over. These are being rectified as we do the rounds where possible.
We did not lose power at any stage either for those who are wondering.

I am unsure of all the traffic disruptions that are affecting the roads around you all but reportedly the local roads have been cleared by and large.
For those of you who wish to come to the Parks today we are open. Please be advised that we are still restoring the Parks’ normal order and state so she is looking a little ragged in places but we will be restoring both again shortly.

Finally, I would like to thank you all sincerely for your patience, understanding and co-operation before, during and now after this thankfully rare occurrence. These qualities really help the Teams when we are dealing with issues such as these.

Thank you.
Best wishes

Dave Evans, General Manager

🔵Park Update from Dave🔵

Hi All,
A quick update on the Storm here at Kiln Park and Penally Court.
The Park will remain closed today as we assess for any safety issues. There are a few trees down but no major damage apparent at the moment which I am sure will be a relief. There are incidences of minor damage as you would expect and if there are any discoveries of damage to a holiday home we will contact you directly. I stress that there appear to be no incidences of this sort currently.
I understand that there are big disruptions on the transport networks today so please do not travel for your own safety.
In summary,
The Parks remain closed while we conduct safety assessments. They will be closed for the rest of today as a minimum.
We will contact you directly if we discover any damages to holiday homes. There appear to be no such incidences currently. We will call you when we have checked and if we find anything, please don’t call us to check, no news is good news. We will be working hard to check all your holiday homes individually when the weather allows.
Do not travel to the Parks. There are major disruptions to transport networks and the Parks are closed. I repeat that there is no access today. We will update communications detailing when access will be restored.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and co-operation.

Best wishes
Dave
