Busy day yesterday getting both Oak Grove and Newton house ready for arriving guests this week 😊

As usual, my little helper put a shift in and helped clean all the windows inside and out. Although she was threatening to touch them, after they’d been cleaned, in the 3rd photo and thought this was hilarious 😂 🧽 ☀️

Bookings have really picked up and we are now looking very busy for the summer season. We do have a week in August at Oak Grove due to a cancellation and a few more spots at Newton house. Drop us a PM for best prices 😊☀️🌊🏖️

We’ve had a very busy day cleaning for our arriving guests at Oak Grove. With them travelling down from York, and checking in a little later, we took the opportunity to do a little extra cleaning.

✅ Lights taken down and cleaned
✅ Driveway jet washed
✅ Garden walls jet washed
✅ Patio slabs jet washed
✅ Garden furniture jet washed
✅ Gutters and down pipes cleaned

My little helper got stuck right in. Initially a little cautious of the jet wash but she got the hang of it in the end 🚿 🧽

Deep clean ahead of this weeks arriving guests. Some task when you have our little terrors making their mark over the last few weekends 🙈

Not only do we clean top to bottom ourselves on every change over, our cleaning cupboard is always full and left for guests. Some guests like to run things through the dishwasher and give things a wipe over themselves and we have that covered. We often see people buying cleaning items when arriving for a weeks holiday but they won’t need it when staying at one of our properties 😊 🧼
