Cedar Cottage is a great little getaway, whatever the weather!

We have a sunny south-facing front terrace with BBQ and chiminea, or a cosy living room with a woodburner and books if it's a little inclement!

There are a host of great walks around the Chippy area, plus Daylesford Organic, Didley Squat Farm (of Jeremy Clarkson fame - or its is Piglet Squat now? I'm not sure...) plus the fabulous. Soho Farmhouse (if you happen to be a member), all just a 5 minute drive away.....

We're rather quiet this April so I've dropped our prices and we'd love you to come and stay. 😍🥰

Its generally for couples as there is one king-size bed, but we do have a couch bed suitable for one person in the study if you'd rather bring a friend or squeeze in a third person. Just let us know beforehand, so we can set it up.

The Retreat is currently available this weekend up to 20th December for a last minute, romantic getaway at discounted rates.
Nightly rate: £125 per night for Friday 16th and Saturday 17th, and £105 a night for 19th Sunday and Monday 20th Dec, plus £70 cleaning fee per booking.

We were up in the Cotswolds enjoying some Christmas vibes in Tetbury this week. 🎄😄
We popped in to our lovely local gastropub; 🍻 The Royal Oak, 🍻which we can see from our living room window at The Retreat. 🌳
Our old friend and restauranteur Jamie, is currently working there and there is also a new chef. We enjoyed a delicious brunch by the bar and I’m very excited to go and have dinner there when next in Tetbury.

There are some pretty big shows happening at Westonbirt National Arboretum this weekend and we've got the weather! Rag'n'Bone Man tonight, Keane on Friday, Madness on Saturday and Texas on Sunday. There are still some tickets for some of these shows. It's a glorious setting for an outdoor concert and a gets a big recommendation from me. *Cheese Rolling Festival - 5th June*
The Cotswolds hosts a handful of quirky English traditional events and the world-famous Cheese Rolling competition at Coopers Hill near Brockworth is one of the craziest.

This year the festival is on Sunday 5th June and is a day of fun and hilarity. Brave competitors hoping to chase the cheese can head to the top of Cooper’s Hill from 12pm to take part in the event – with downhill races for men and women and one uphill race for children on the day.

Our beautiful Retreat in Tetbury is just over half an hour drive away from Coopers Hill.

We have availability on Sunday 5th - Fri 10th June if you would like to incorporate this into a mini-break at reduced prices.
