The paddock sits at the back of the property and is well sheltered and includes electric fencing. It can be split if required. Droppings must be collected (equipment provided for this), or we are happy to do this for you for a small charge. There is a pedestrian gate in the garden for access to the paddock and the entrance for the horses is a two minute walk on the other side.

Welcome to our delightful two bedroom cottage located located in the village of Thompson, Norfolk.

Well behaved dogs are welcome and we also offer a paddock to enable you to bring your equine friends along on holiday with you.

Thompson joins onto Peddar’s Way so offers lots of lovely walks or rides. The forest is a twenty minute hack away and is full of fantastic canter tracks If you would prefer to bike but don’t want to bring your bike along we can offer you use of bikes.

There is a pub within a few minutes walk and Thompson Hall Wellness Spa is also in the village (pre booking recommended). Holkam Beach, which also allows horses, is a 45 minute drive. To the front of the cottage is the Millennium Green which is a lovely open space with a children’s play park and a football and basketball area.

Smithy House has a large enclosed rear garden with a hot tub and seating area.

Inside the cottage offers two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. It has a downstairs wetroom and a well equipped kitchen including a microwave and washing machine. In the lounge there is a log burner that runs the heating and is wonderful for cosy nights in watching Netflix.

All bed linen and towels are provided and a welcome pack of basic essentials is also available.
