Klaxon alert…the cherry blossom is open.

Although these trees are getting quite old for ornamental cherries, they’re still putting on a show and the coming weeks is the time to visit if you want to see the blossom at its best.

Some pear blossom is hanging on, apples are opening and the crab apples along the carriageway are in that delicate cross over of part on the tree, part dropping like confetti to the path below. How they will be in a few weeks is anyone's guess!
