We're happy to share that our Toddler Club will resume this spring, starting on Tuesday 11th of March.

Bring your little ones along to the Larchwood Cabin for a chance to play, discover, grow and socialise. Each week our sessions will include age-appropriate toys, storybooks and crafts, as well as themed-activities led by our session leader and access to the Adventure Playground.

It's a great chance for adults to mingle whilst the kids play!

We are sorry to announce that this weekend’s Snowdrop Walk (Feb 8 & 9) has been cancelled due to the impact of Storm Eowyn. Despite our team’s hard work, there is still a lot of clean up required before we can welcome visitors properly.

Good news! The Snowdrop Walk on Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 February is still set to go ahead - we hope to see you then!

After the wild winds of Storm Eowyn last Friday, it's always a relief to see that the Drumlanrig Sycamore - which has stood tall for over 300 years, is still upright!🌳💨

Unfortunately, not all areas across the Estate have been so lucky...

As our team works diligently to clear these areas, we kindly remind all visitors that the Woodland Walks and Trails are currently CLOSED due to impassable routes and the high risk of further falling branches.

For your safety, we ask that visitors to the Estate stick to the paths such as the main Drive if taking a walk, as the conditions in the woodlands remain extremely dangerous.

Happy Burns Night! 🥃

Did you know our Estate has a fascinating connection to Scotland’s National Bard? Robert Burns lived just down the road at Ellisland Farm from 1788 to 1791. He was a close friend of John McMurdo, chamberlain to the Duke of Queensberry, and is thought to have been a regular visitor to the Estate.

While the stunning scenery of Dumfries and Galloway clearly inspired his poetry, Burns’ relationship with the 4th Duke of Queensberry, William Douglas, was known to be a little bit tense!
