The Taste North Challenge is back for 2024! 😍
Take part in the Taste North Challenge by creating an innovative new baking product using at least one Caithness & Sutherland "hero" ingredient.

Very interesting …….

We’re pleased to share a new trail showcasing important war sites in and around Wick!

👣 A trail of 16 sites developed by Sinclair's Bay Trust from Keiss Castle to Noss Head

👣 A trail highlighting 30 sites or war time events in Wick, created by Wick Development Trust.

The Caithness at War Trail will be publicly launched on Saturday 20th April at Wick John O’Groats Airport.

The next phase of the project will be to create a Allied Air Forces Memorial at Wick John O’Groats Airport, remembering the 544 aircrew and service personnel who lost their lives operating from the three Caithness RAF stations.

We would just like to wish the participants of our regional heat for the Highland Shortbread Showdown all the best for the blind tasting taking place tomorrow! We have some truly incredible talent in Caithness and Sutherland when it comes to our food and drink offer, so our judges have a tough job in front of them!😋
