Having exclusive use of a pool on your doorstep is a perfect opportunity to focus on improving confidence and competence in the water. Many of our guests have made the most of this opportunity by booking swimming lessons during their stay. We can recommend a super teacher, who is experienced and qualified to teach all ages and levels, covering strokes, techniques and safety in the water.

Early mornings at National Trust Knightshayes...

If you're visiting Tiverton, make sure a trip to Knightshayes is on your agenda. A fascinating Victorian Gothic Revival house, beautiful gardens and parkland, a brilliant walled kitchen garden and wonderful views over Tiverton.

This snap is from last year at the end of one of their Dawn Chorus walks. The walk itself was fascinating and it was lovely to see the the house and estate early in the morning before visitors started arriving, a little slice of peace in a beautiful place.
