πŸŒƒ Day 6: Chasing the Moon to find ✨Star Clusters✨

This evening you can spot two beautiful star clusters just below the Moon πŸŒ“: the Pleiades to the right ✨, and the wider-spaced Hyades to the left ✨ (find them just past a very bright dot that we'll be looking at tomorrow).

The Pleiades are known as the "Seven Sisters" and are shown in today's picture. These are young stars, born in the time of the dinosaurs. βœ¨πŸ¦•πŸ¦–

You probably won't see more than six stars with the naked eye, but if you use binoculars or a telescope you will see many more! Check out our events calendar πŸ“Œ to find a stargazing event with binoculars and telescopes near you. πŸ”βœ¨
