After ten brilliant seasons (although maybe not 2020 so much!) we have reluctantly taken the decision that the time has come to retire the Old Pine Hut - the Old Pine Yurt as was.
Over the years we have hosted hundreds of people from pretty much all corners of the world and from all walks of life; we have met authors, historians, architects, doctors, accountants, lawyers, restorers of historic buildings, surgeons, carpenters, joiners, airline pilots, engineers, lecturers, survivalists, military personnel, tweed manufacturers, landscape gardeners, teachers, musicians (some famous), wedding celebrants, cyclists, bikers, walkers, motorhomers, policemen and policewomen, the manager of a peanut butter factory, and many others who didn't disclose their occupations - but it was our pleasure to meet you all.
As we sit back now and put our feet up, we thank you, each and every one.
