We are keen to provide our students with good quality training. Following a review of our service, we are now concentrating on offering more purposeful training. We hope that parents/ careers/ professionals and potential students will contact us, should they believe our service to be a positive step forward.

have just recently opened our brand new coffee shop at Upz and Downz. The purpose is to provide our students with work experience in hospitality. Our opening ours are: Monday - Friday: 8.45am-4.45pm and we close at 4pm on weekends. The coffee shop is located at Upz and Downz, Longmead Stadium, North Tonbridge (TN10 3JF).

We are still in the processes of decorating our studio to make it more inviting. The students are making decorated half pipes to cover up some ugly lagging. We also made a get well card for Dave, who helped us with bike maintenance last year. Get well soon, Dave!
Our young visitor today, Nicky, painted some boards which will be signs to help us to remember to tidy up after ourselves, after each session. Craig and Toby are applying the finishing touches to our garden chairs. Well done for all of your hard work today! ❤️

Our concrete vases are coming along a treat! Can’t wait to finish them and add dried stems. Craig and Toby have been fantastic, cleaning and moving more storage into place for our studio. Well done, everyone! ❤️

Our wonderful regulars at the Coffee Shop, enjoying our new decking. We also now have air con inside so if you’re feeling hot and sticky, come in for a lovely, cool atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food and drinks 🙂. Our coffee shop is fortunate to be surrounded by trees. Did you know, research has shown that chemicals from trees called phytoncides, released by plants and trees, strengthen our immune, hormonal, circulatory and nervous systems when we breathe them in? Trees also improve our quality of life - offering relief from anxiety and depression (taken from friendsoftheearth, Why We Need Trees). Free WIFI & parking too! 😃

What a hard-working team of students we have. We cleaned the planters, weeded and planted new flowers. Katherine did a fantastic job of sweeping the leaves from the path and decking. Thanks also to Wendy, one of our regulars at the coffee shop, for donating some trailing plants. We also cleaned and refilled our water feature and added a solar powered fountain. All we need now is some sunshine! Have a good weekend everyone and don’t forget, we are closed tomorrow but open as usual on Sunday 😃

We’ve had a productive morning in the studio today . Ellie and Rob are practicing their stenciling skills before applying them onto our retro table. Faith has stencilled some of it already and done a really neat job. Katherine is learning sign writing for a new coffee shop sign and Toby has applied some trim inside our storage cupboard and painted the cupboard door frames. Well done , everyone!

Sue’s mosaic fish is looking fetching and will soon be finished. Faith has done a great job painting a drawer insert. Toby is adding wallpaper onto the inside of our storage cupboard. Rebecca is stencilling an old table which is going to look marvellous and Julian is making more sun catchers, as we are sold out again! Well done everyone ❤️

A welcome environment for people with disabilities and special needs. Not forgetting our outside eating area to enjoy the last of the seasonal warmth. A ramp for easy access for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Plenty of space inside for mums and babies, with baby changing facilities and high chairs provided 😊
