A single daffodil turns its head to look at Looe Island in the distance whilst a solitary seagull flies over in the blue sky … and the crocuses face their petals to the warmth of the sun … springtime feels so close 😍.

A quick coffee 'n' biscuit break in the sunshine during the first garden clearing day of 2023! The weather is absolutely glorious and the sun is shining, the sea is calm and is displaying some wonderful patterns in the water...and there's a little fishing boat in the distance. Spring flowers are fighting their way through the old undergrowth and the 'Buccanneers' are keeping us company as always...think Drake was nodding off in the warmth of the sun!😎

Cornwall is a perfect location at any time of the year... why not try a stay on the lesser known, but definitely stunning, South East Coast? Little Island View is ideal for couples, we are just a few miles along the coast from Looe and there is a wealth of other beautiful coastal villages and towns to explore within a short drive. Oh....and not to be forgotten...another stunning sunset tonight...with a clear sky and bright moon and Venus shining!

Sampling the new Sunday carvery at The Beach House Seaton just 200m from our little studio…absolutely superb lunch and the view’s not too shabby either😎 … almost as good as ours😃 - a stunning afternoon in October Steve Frith
