Motorcycle tours with a difference, ride some of the best roads in Spain and Portugal to our hotel at the southern end of the serra de estrela , mountain of the stars and spend 6 days exploring the area before returning to the ferry

Beautiful start to the day with plenty of curves as we headed north and cross the border into Spain, picnic lunch again and made it to Leon in plenty of time.

Another fantastic day riding from Gois to Gimonde near Bragança , stopped for a picnic lunch at a view overlooking the Douro valley.

Brilliant 90 mile loop today in central Portugal, first part was 25 miles of the N2 then cutting back up to Trevim before riding down the Serra de lousa with a lunch stop in Cerdiera (a mountain village made from slate) and the final visit of the day was Lousa castle.

Sunday lunchtime in Northern Spain (they don't start serving until after 14.00), seafood stew with steak second course all washed down with a cold glass of tinto and a great ride through the mountains to get back to base.

Back in Spain, this time to do the trans European trial around northern Spain with a few mates.

Such a massive choice of adventure bike tyres nowadays, after watching a few reviews on different tyres I decided on the Mitas E0-7 as I'm heading to the Picos with a few mates at the end of the month, they are a 60/40 road bias, quite a bit of difference in handing to the (worn) road tyres I had before.

Last foraging basket willow weaving course for a wee while, Next week, Sunday the 12th of May. £60 per person, All ages are welcome 10am until 4pm, Refreshments provided all day with a wonderful homemade soup for lunch. Book now to avoid disappointment, it really is a lovely lovely day 😊 I will throw in a free potted, basket weaving willow tree that I've grown myself for every participant of this course xx
